How do you scrunch your hair???
How To Scrunch Hair
Styles with natural wave, flips and ripples are hot this spring. To get this look you may have to master the art of Scrunching.
If your hair has a slight natural bend, wave or natural curl, follow these steps.
Shampoo and condition with products formulated to improve your hair's texture and flexibility.
Towel dry your hair so that it is damp, not dripping.
Apply a firm hold styling aid from the root area to the ends. Hair Gel or Glaze is usually better for heavy hair and Styling Foam or Mousse usually works for fine hair. You may have to experiment to see which works for you.
To dry your hair, you will either use a diffuser or let it dry naturally. Either way, you must be patient to not rush the drying process.
Grab a chunk of hair, squeeze and push the ends up toward your head, causing it to 'crinkle'. If you are using a diffuser, direct the air flow toward the chunk of hair you are working with. Drop that piece of hair and grab another chunk. Repeat the process until you have worked with all of your hair. Go over it again and again until your hair is dry.
Grabbing small chunks of hair and working more slowly will give you more curl.
Larger chunks of hair will give a larger wave effect.
To save time, shorten the process by:
As soon as you get up, get into the shower.
Follow step 1
Immediately upon getting out follow step 2.
Then grab chunks of hair, wad them up and clip them to your head loosely. (The clips to use are similar to those used with hot rollers. Only without the rollers!)They must be loose enough for the air to circulate. When you have all of your hair up in clips, it will be messy looking.
Then have your coffee, breakfast and continue getting ready for work. Your hair will be air-drying at this time.
When you are dressed and have your make-up on, check your hair. If it is still very wet, use the diffuser on it.
When it is almost dry, carefully take out all the clips. Continue scrunching, using the diffuser until your hair is completely dry.
To get rid of any frizz, finish your style by scrunching some hair creme into the ends and adding spray shine.

Steps
Wash and condition your hair. Make sure you squeeze the excess water out of your hair. To scrunch it, you want it damp, not soaking.
Wrap your hair in a towel to dry it a bit. Only brush your hair once when you first get out of the shower .
Comb your fingers through your hair and make a part as best as you can. Don't worry if it's not perfect.
Spray hairspray in your hair. put it near the middle and bottom of your hair. Putting it too close to your roots will cause it to look greasy and weighed down.
Put gel in your hands and rub them together to spread the gel.
Grab a small handful of hair by the ends and push it up toward the head. Hold it in place for a few seconds.
Repeat this all over your head, keeping in mind that the small handfuls yield tighter waves and large handfuls create full, loose waves.
Take a large scrunchie (hair tie) and tie your hair up in a large and messy bun -- just make sure it stays.
Add some hairspray to the bun and go to bed. When you wake up, take your hair out of the bun.
Tips
Fine/thin, naturally straight, or chemically-straightened hair may be resistant to scrunching. If this is the case, apply curl-defining mousse or gel to the hair and curl it using a barrel iron. When the curl is still warm, take the end of the curl and pull it until the hair is straight. Let go once the curl has cooled - it should bounce back wavier and looser than before. Apply more gel, if necessary.
For best results, use shampoo, conditioner, and products (gel, mousse, hairspray, etc) that specifically define curls.
Never rub a towel vigorously around the ends of hair, because it causes split ends and frizz. If needed, scrunch with the towel.
Warnings
Don't put too much gel in your hair in one spot because once it dries, it will turn white and flaky.
Don't even think about brushing your hair after you've scrunched it. You will look like you got electrocuted.
Things You'll Need
Mousse or gel, hairspray, time, and patience

How do you scrunch your hair???
well when i scrunch mine i find the best way is to have damp hair and put moose in it and jst scrunch it up and just keep doing that for a little while and then spray hair spray and scrunch again and then finally if u were doing it over night (which is really good) you sort of split your hair up in to some sections maybe 4 and jst tye them up into little buns and put a little bit of more hair spray..and then in the morning and you tkae them out little more moose and hairspray and it should be really nice and scrunched... it works for me... good luck
