Hair products for short/fine/matt/messy hair?

Can anyone recommend a good styling product for really fine short hair? I have a very slight mohican and would like a bit of a choppy messy look. I've tried using gel in the past but it makes my hair look wet and too spiky so I started using really hard wax which worked a lot better but I find it doesn't hold for long, especially when I go out in the wind.

I've heard that glue might be the answer... has anyone else tried it? Does it leave hair looking wet and is it hard to restyle it if it gets messed up?

It would be great if anyone could recommend a good rock hard wax or glue that gives a matt look. Thanks in advance.

Just use any gel.

Your hair is gonna look really greasy.

Hair problems for a 17 male?

Any kind of gel should achieve this look but there are specific gels that state they are for the "wet look". These can be found at most discount stores.

You then need to use a mousse. Pick up a tres semme (maybe i'v spelt it wrong) or pantene ice shine mousse from the drug store. Make sure that u pick up in maximum hold as this will keep ur hair in place for hours.

After u get off from the shower apply lots n lots of mousse n ur wet hair, style it n then just leave it. don't touch from then. you will have a wet look all day. Mousse is good if you have long hair. on short hair go for some gel. every gel will give u a wet look as long as its a gel n not any thing else like a pomade or glue.

I don't know how thick your hair is, or what the texture of it is. It just looks like he hasn't washed his hair in a few days. My boyfriend's hair looks just like that when it is dirty. You can make your hair look dirty with some paste, or some oil serum. It doesn't look like he has much of anything else to do. Just print the picture out, and take it in to your stylist. It is a really simple cut, and stylists do much better seeing the picture, than describing it. That is my best advice for you. Good Luck

If you don't already have someone you trust, I would say to first find a stylist at a reputable salon. Bring in a picture, multiple pictures would be helpful if they show what you'd like it to look like in the back, sides, etc. I'd also recommend you do a consultation prior to getting your hair actually cut to make sure you don't need to do anything specific for your face or need to grow your hair out longer, etc, etc.

Also, I'd say as far as styling products, it looks like you might need a flat iron and a styling pomade, like Jonathan's Dirt or Bed Head's Manipulator.

Hope this helps!

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

I know that any hair products can't just make your hair curly but does the hair products that the ppl who have curly hair use like curling shampoo, sprays, gels work on ppl who have striaght hair use that for making your hair a little curly like PANTYNE HYDRATING CURLS, SUNSILK FOR CURLY HAIR, OR THAT NEW HERBLE ESSENSE.

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

DON'T USE OVER THE CONTER! USE REDKEN FRESH CURLS SHAMPOO CONDITIONER AND REDKEN RINGLET 07. GO TO WWW.REKDEN.COM TO FIND A SALON NEAR YOU! THE STORE PRODUCTS DAMAGE HAIR

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

Those are more for people with perms.

I would recommend a perm. They have alot of options nowdays and they don't stink as bad as they used to.

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

i dont think they do..those are made for ppl who already have naturally curly or permed hair...sorry

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

hmm i have no clue

because i have naturally curly hair

you could get a perm

they dont last forever

so if u dont like it

you can always let it grow out

but all i can say is that

you can have my hair..

we can trade

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

Nope. There is the curling shampoo, but it just primes your hair for it to be hot rolled or curled. The only way to really get curly hair is to get a perm.

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

you are wrong!there is a conditoiner that you put on when you are in the shower.idk what it is called but you put it on in the shower and it makes your hair curly!there is a nother one that can make your hair strait too!

Any hair products that can make stright hair curly???

those products are made to enhance your curls. but if you don't have any curls or waves, there is nothing to be enhanced.

you can use hot rollers or a curling iron. that's less drastic than a perm.

How can i get my hair dryed fast without using a blow dryer?

Dry it with a towel. Then redry it with a towel that was heated in the clothes dryer. It will absorb more moisture by being hot.

This is my help from Washington, D.C. USA.

How can i get my hair dryed fast without using a blow dryer?

How can i get my hair dryed fast without using a blow dryer?

you know, there is this cloth that you can find maybe in a department store. or in a car shop, it so absorbent that if you use it on your hair, it will dry fast.

i don't know what type of material is that made of, but I'm very sure that you can find it on a car accessory shop. the purpose of it is to dry the car without leaving any scratches.

just find it! i think it's yellow in color. try it, because i am sure that it will work.

What is the name of this shampoo that turns your hair brown little by little?

John Freida "brunette" line also has a line for red hair and blondes. The brunette line of products has shampoos, conditioners and other hair products that can alter slightly the colour of your hair. It comes in i believe 2(??) diferent brunette colours for the the lines.

What is the name of this shampoo that turns your hair brown little by little?

Maneur shampoo

What is the name of this shampoo that turns your hair brown little by little?

Luminous Glaze by John Frieda does this. You use it in the shower and then rinse it out. It costs about $8 and you can get it at most drugstores, like Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and a lot of other places.

I use it and I really like it a lot. It brings out the highlights in your hair and lightens it. It also makes it really shiny and glossy and smooth.

What is the name of this shampoo that turns your hair brown little by little?

i would go to aveda and get one of the 'personal blends'(every time you wash your hair or condition, whatever you choose, it will deposit the color into your hair. the conditioner with deposit more and you can leave in on for a few mins).. the brown one and use that, i wouldnt use anything from an drugstores. if you are lighter and slowly trying to go darker thats your best bet..

Hair Straightening cream?

I came across this little Korean salon that carried this hair straightening cream that's $6 per jar and perms your hair straightly and makes it radiate.

I kinda wanted to try it since I'm always so frowny about my curly hair (it's a little unusual for asians to have curly-puffy hair so I don't like it), but for something that costs that much (and isn't really proffesional) it's gotta have some side effects, right?

It's a comb in + wash out kind of cream, so do you guys think it'll seriously ruin my hair (i.e. massive hair loss, altering hair color, lots of brittling effects)? Should I get it? Are there any other GOOD straightening creams out there?

I have a straightener and everything, but my hair just becomes frizzy and puffy again after I go outside into the summer humidity. Sprays and gel don't work in my stubborn hair either! T______T

I'm so sick of my hair!

Hair Straightening cream?

use it on a small section of your hair first and see how it works!!

if not, get a japanese hair perm or whatever it's called.. i heard it works really good..

good luck =]
