How do you give your hair the "wet look"?

I am a guy with kind of long hair past my ears. I think my hair is to long for gel. How do I give it a "wet look" without having to keep drenching my head with water?

You can still use gel, just don't overdo it. A dollop about the size of a quarter would be enough. Squirt it into your hands, rub them together, and then run your hands through your hair and comb it how you want.

Mousse and gel.

I think you can still use gel even if you have longer hair. That's the only way I know of to get that look.

Get your hair wet the first time and while it is still wet mousse it!

That will give you that sexy wet look you want. :D

I use mousse on my hair with a spray gel afterwards.

"Bed Head" has a product that you can use to lock in the wavy look when you hair is wet. Its called "Curls Rock"

I have short curly hair that goes past my ears %26amp; sits right above my shoulders. I like the wet look as well, %26amp; I don't like the feel of gel in my hair either. Mainly because it feels weighted down. Though I do recommend one product that gives you the look %26amp; not the feel- hemp's texturing glaze.

I tend to sometimes use it along with some leave in conditioner, in order to help give my hair moisture before using hemp.
