well, I always read that one is supposed to use hair spray before curling their hair....but isn't hair spray flamable?? How does your hair not bust into flames? same thing with mousse and gel. I don't wanna die to be pretty. how does this work??

using hairspray will hold the style but depending on what kind you use, it might make your hair stiff.
if you want loose big curls, lighten up on the spray.

hair spray is flammable, its dangerous to have it sprayed when near an open flame.. I don't think the heat from the curling iron can make a fire. From what I know it's more gentle to curl your hair and then put hairspray in it.
