okay so i usually just scrunch my hair with a bunch of gel and hairspray because i have long hair... but after several hours it gets hard and dry and frizzy and i hate that. I want a wet scrunched look, not dry. how do i get it perfectly scrunched, and to stay that way for the whole day? any ideas will help..thank you !!

OH MY GOODNESS! NO GEL! lol i wear my hair that way daily. i start when my hair is damp, then flip my head over %26amp; scrunch it with sunsilk anti-flat. then i follow it up with big sexy hair MOUSSE (please no gel!! i beg you!!) then finish it off with hairspray.

I have curly hair so this is my area of expertise haha...
first of all when you are in the shower use some really good moisturizing conditioner and comb through your hair while it's wet. do NOT use a brush while your hair is wet, it's really damaging. use a wide-toothed comb. use a leave-in conditioner.
and don't use gel. that's why your hair is becoming hard. if you have to use gel on a particularly bad hair day, use Suave's aloe vera gel. in general, use mousse and serum. Paul Mitchell's mousse is expensive but works really well. Frizz-Ease is decent.

Use Frizz Ease by John Frieda...The original formula...just a drop or two of it scrunched at the ends. flip your head upside down, scrunch it into the ends and then put gel in your hair...i love Frizz Ease...i have been using it for years.
