How do you manage naturally curly/straight, thick hair?

My hair is very curly with gel in it,but it frizzes and when it dries it is kind of coarse, no matter how much conditioner I use.

How do you manage naturally curly/straight, thick hair?

Hey! I have thick, straight hair and recently tried the new VivePro line by L'oreal which is working really well. Usually my hair is hard to manage, frizzes up, but now it feels much more manageable and more like hair than a big thick mess, and the frizzing is not happening as much. They have shampoos and conditioners formulated for coarse, thick, curly hair too. It makes the hair cuticle more smooth, so it helps to knock out frizz.

Check this website out, it has a little quiz that asks you questions about your hair, then tells you what the best products are for your hair. It helped me, and my thick hair!

I use garnier fructis shampoo and conditioner. You should probably get the kind for dry, damaged hair. Also, try the garnier fructis smoothing milk. It instantly smoothed and de-frizzed my hair.Good Luck!

mine is naturally curly. I dry my hair upside down, while kind of puffing it up with my hands. Gives it more of a wind blown look, and more curl. I have no trouble with frizz, but I have trouble with my hair falling out alot.

well you should think of doing a hot oil treatment and make sure that your conditioner is an deep conditioner and please dont over condition it, because that takes out the vitamins and mineral in you hair which can also dry out your hair.

I have thick, wavy hair and find I have to keep it short because it's so heavy. Have you considered layering your hair? This would take some of the weight off and help control the frizzies while still leaving length.
