What are the best store brand products for my curly hair?

I have naturally long, curly, layered hair. It gets frizzy when I don't put on mousse after I shower. (I'm Filipina. My ethnicity might help you with deciding what's good for my hair.) I want to know what store brand hair products (shampoo, conditioner, mousse, gel, etc.) are best for my curly hair?

I have used Thermasilk Curl Perfecting Mousse (with Matrix Sleek.look shampoo %26amp; conditioner); Garnier Sleek %26amp; Shine Shampoo and Conditioner (with Curl Construct Mousse); and Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mousse (currently using).

The instructions on all the mousse I've used say to blow dry hair after I put the mousse on wet/damp hair. I don't like to blow dry my hair. I put on the mousse and leave my hair to naturally dry, but then it gets hard and crunchy, which I don't like. Is there a shampoo, conditioner, mousse, or other hair product that's for curly hair that's hypoallergenic, doesn't require blow drying, and won't make my hair crunchy after it dries?

Dude,we're like twins!

Haha.

Im Filipina, and I'm also currently using Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mousse .

I think what you should do is keep the same Mousse and hair stuff, but while your scrunching your hair, kinda air it out. and use some cream for curly hair. When I use the mousse, it doesnt make my hair crunchy, it leaves it natural. Then I use gel in it haha. OR what you could do is put in the mousse and while it dries keep moving your hair around. It works.

So I hope i helped. I'll think of more later.

Good luck.

okay i have the curliest hair ever and there are three products that I use that work soooo well. shampoo and condition with dove anit-frizz shampoo and conditioner.

After you get out of the shower use a leave in conditioner. use about a nickel size amount and rub it in your hair for about a minute.

next use a gel. same thing a nickel size amount and rub it in for a minute.

then use a shine cream and use a quarter size amount and just run your fingers through your hair until it is soaked in. let it air dry (or you can blow dry it with a diffuser, but i see you don't want to blow dry) and I promise you will be frizz and crunch free the whole day!

she used biosilk on her hair. and she always had nice hair.

try using a diffuser when you blowdry that should help you too.

or try a wax or pomade on your hair. it won't get hard or crunchy!

I have long, curly, layered hair as well. I have found that Drugstore products don't work nearly as well as Salon products. Although they are more expensive, it is definitely worth it. For shampoo and conditioner I use Curly Sexy Hair (www.sexyhair.com) or AG products are good as well. I don't use mousse at all, instead I would recommend Curl Enhancer (also by Curly Sexy Hair), Wired by Rusk, Details by AG, or Potion No. 9 by Sebastian. All of these products you apply to towel dried, combed hair and you can let air dry, which I do. The last 3 of these are a cream you just use a small amount and run your fingers through your hair (and scrunch a little bit so it doesn't get too weighed down), the Curl Enhancer is a foam spray, but works the same. And I promise, no crunchy curls! Believe me, I've tried just about every product there is for curly hair and I know it's super frustrating. The type of shampoo you use isn't really as important as the conditioner and product afterward. As long as you have those two you're good to go!
