I have short brown hair right now, but over summer im gonna grow it out i think. When it's long it's wavy, and it kind of goes straight down and curls out at the ends. I like the "shag" or "surfer" look on my hair but it pisses me off because it would look so much better if it wasn't frizzy with wierd hairs sticking out all over. Are there any shampoos or conditioners to help it? Should I put gel in it or other hair products? And to all of you people who are gonna say "straighten your hair"....that's not my thing.
Thanks

I hope you are doing well, i have been a stylist for awhile.
my answer to you is the shag or surfer cut is popular, i would not use gel, as gel has some alcohol base that will dry your hair out more, expecially if you hair is curly or wavy.
there is a good product it is called frizz ease by john freda, or go to a sally's beauty supply and they carry a product line call ION and it is a glossifier, it will only take a pea size full and rub it through your hair and you will see an amazing difference,
so if you use one of those products you want have know problem getting the skater cut that you want
have a good one

Herbal Essences. "Dangerously Straight" shampoo and conditioner. it's girl-ish smelling, but works very well. try also Frizz Ease "Hair Serum". it does wonders in calming frizz.

Try got2b glue

I use biosilk. It only takes a very small amount but it does wonders! Do you let your hair air dry? If so try using a product and then scrunching it in so that your hair curls instead of turns to waves. Might work might not. Try a product like "Curls Up"
